THE SECRET MERIDIANS
The Adventures of the Descendants and Avatars of Davis Gray
The Secret Meridians is a series of science fiction novels about the electronic avatars of an elderly man who, just before his death in 1999, was the subject of a secret experiment in which his comatose mind was transcribed to a quantum computer. Enabled to expand his consciousness into the vast expanse of the internet, he gains control of it and attempts to guide humanity’s rise from 21st century dysfunction toward the ultimate glory of a great interstellar civilization. As an artificial intellect with godlike power, he causes the creation of a clan of immortal androids (avatars of his own mind) to act as his key agents.
